Are Ryan and Jordan Zimmerman related?
Posted by: JonnyG24 | January 15, 2009 at 08:11 PM
No, Jordan Zimmerman is from Canada and Ryan Zimmerman is from North Carolina.
Also, there is another Jordan Zimmerman from British Columbia who played for the Mariners. He is, however, related to Jeff Zimmerman who played for the Rangers.

Just to clarify my previous post, the Jordan Zimmerman who is relate to Jeff Zimmerman is the one who played for the Mariners.
The two Zimmermans on the Nationals are not relate to each other or any other Zimmerman in baseball.

Destin Hood is the man. I played high school baseball with him and this guy has everything you want in a player. Power, speed, fielding ability, and durability. This guy does it all.

Jordan Zimmermann's name has two N's. Ryan Zimmerman has one N.

Jcrabtree, glad to hear it. I'm looking forward to seeing him in a Nats uni in the future, seeing as he rejected a scholarship to play football at 'Bama.

Can't wait to see Pete Orr and Josh Towers battle over the #7...in Syracuse! lol

^^Pete Orr's a utility infielder, not a pitcher. But he does reportedly play a MEAN Connect-Four.
