Indians Agree To Terms With Nine

The Miami Herald reports that the Indians agreed to terms with nine players today.

Among the nine were Shin-Soo Choo, Aaron Laffey, Jeremy Sowers, Josh Barfield, Wyatt Toregas, Jon Meloan, Adam Miller, Anthony Reyes, and Tony Sipp.

I'm pretty sure you mean Jonathan Meloan.

I do indeed James, thanks for that.

I wonder how the Miami Herald got the scoop on that and not an Ohio or Arizona newspaper.

I'll wake the neighbors and phone the kids...

Indians re-signed some talent. Cant blame them for that.

Tes, I agree, but it's not news or rumor.

I really thought Adam Miller was going to sign somewhere else..

How would Adam Miller sign somewhere else? He never had that option.

Tes, I agree, but it's not news or rumor.

I really wish Tim would drop the hammer on these a-holes who complain about what gets posted on this website. It's personally my favorite source for baseball stuff, regardless of whether it is a rumor, news, or just cool facts. The people who nitpick about what is "newsworthy" or "postworthy" in the comments section should be asked politely to keep their comments to themselves, than banned for any future remarks. These guys who do this site have their plates full trying to keep us updated on all 30 Ball Clubs. They certainly don't need to be bothered by the goons who come by to criticize the neccessity of the posts here. Sorry for the rant, but I love this site, and despise those who have nothing better to do than come here and piss and moan.

"How would Adam Miller sign somewhere else? He never had that option."

Right. So how is this news?

Tim has been posting all of the contract renewals. Why is that a problem?

Good post BUCS. Too bad the losers complaining don't know/understand your post is about them...First example: scribbletone

Bucs, you have no business calling me an a-hole. You're the one who Tim should remove from the site, I was merely expressing my opinion. You were the baby calling names, real mature of you.

And Tuna who is calling us losers should be gone too. There is no place for name calling, that is one of Tim's rules.

Come on guys. This is a free site as long as you put up with a little advertising. It's like a relative showing up at your house unannounced, staying for a month and then complaining about the food.

I just found it ironic that Bucs is complaining that I'm complaining, lol. Hey, I love this site, too. My original comment was meant to poke fun in a humerous way, not to be insulting like Bucs was being. It was kind of a "slow news day" kind of comment.

Its just that these guys were either going to get renewed, released or traded, and if it wasn't one of the latter two then I don't see how it's significant and worthwhile. Obviously Tim disagrees with me, but this is of little importance. I'm sure Tim's happy that he has a little blog militia ready to defend him at any instant. I'm one of this sites biggest supporters, if you couldn't tell by the number of comments I make, but that doesnt mean I'm blindlessly faithful to Tim. He does an unreal job, but I just don't see how these posts are worth his time.

No need to bash me, jeez.

Wow, I saw 16 comments on a Tribe post and figured we were finally getting some fan discussion about the Indians... unfortunately I had to bear witness to you people pissing and moaning.

Solution: Whiners stop whining. You don't have to read it, let alone comment on it. Whiners about the whiners, you can shut up too.

"Solution: Whiners stop whining."

Ha Ha! Very well put!
