really? Why would they send LeBlanc and Cabrera? (i could see a reason for Cabrera more than LeBlanc)
Mickey Koke
Alberto Gonzalez is the new UT-INF. Luebke is on the team out of the pen. Latos to the DL.

I follow the padres on twitter and i believe he just isn’t ready to start the season… injury setback in spring training and his stuff just wasnt ready.
edit: leblanc that is

You follow the Padres on Twitter…? and I dont get it.
corey23
they always are updating what is going on with the roster, which is why me saying i follow them is relevant. i should have made my point more clear i suppose. Whoever it is that updates the padres twitter updates a lot, and does a great job letting everyone know what’s up with the team…. and i was saying that they mentioned leblanc in the twitter feed in regards to him going to AAA…
Matt Galvin
Maybe because of Gonzalez.
Grimace Boyer
It’s nice to see a trade work out equally well for both teams.

Cabrera’s going out because they want him to play every day, not back up with <10 at-bats a week.
LeBlanc's going out because they don't need a fifth starter the first two times through the rotation, so he can stay on track. (That's their statement, although I imagine if Wade continues to be Wade Leblanc, they just might let him stay in Tucson and pull Luebke out of the bullpen for the #5 spot.)
Hunter over Cunningham really makes no sense to me.

Hunter had a great spring and he’s been with the org for a while so they figured to give him a taste of the bigs before he finally takes a trip to AAA.
Also, it looks like Luebke is going to be the swing-man out of the pen and Moseley is going to start in the #5 spot.

Moseley is the #4 starter as the roster is configured…
(Anyone who mistakes this for good news is in for a long season.)
