Minor Moves: Brandon Boggs

Here are the latest minor moves from around MLB…

  • Outfielder Brandon Boggs elected free agency, according to MLB.com's Adam McCalvy. Boggs, 28, appeared in 16 games for the Brewers in April and May before returning to Triple-A, where he posted a season line of .241/.381/.419 in 333 plate appearances. He drew 53 walks and collected 29 extra base hits as a corner outfielder in Nashville.

    He also had some REALLY GREAT barbecue, but sadly, no advanced metrics account for these sorts of things.

    I hear he only eats porkchops before every game.

      If he can adjust his diet, say chicken instead of porkchops and some beer, I know just the team. His ability to play RF would be a deal closer!
