“The poachee become the poacher”…it doesn’t get any better than that lol

Oh me oh my, I am drowning with excitement! Do something significant please :]

And that ladies and gentlemen could very well be the biggest offseason move the Braves will make.
start_wearing_purple
They got rid of Lowe.
NL_East_Rivalry
Braves have the youth to just do nothing. Between finding a possible SS, that, back-up CFer(if at all), and finding someone else for the BP (if anyone at all)… the Lowe move is still the biggest.
rsanchez1
Yeah that, and keeping Fredi Gonzalez.
safari_punch
Have to wonder if the Marlins think they can become the Miami Heat of MLB by signing the top FA players this off-season.
Imagine if they could get three of the following:
– Pujols to play 3B (as the cards did down the stretch, in the event they sign Fielder too)
– Fielder to play 1B
– Reyes to play SS or 2B
– Add CJ Wilson to their rotation

This might be the most absurd post in MLBTR history…

I’m so glad Rizzo sees the value of Storen (and Clippard for that matter). No need to mess with a good thing.
FS54 2
Yeah I like our bullpen too. Go HRod-Clip-Stor!
rsanchez1
HAHAHA, Oh Samson.
lefty177
I follow baseball really closely but who’s the 3rd bullpen guy Rizzo is referring to? I know Storen & Clippard but who’s the 3rd?
Fifty_Five
Probably Henry Rodriguez. The guy tosses straight up filth if he gets it anywhere near the plate
FacelessGeneralManager
When he throws two fastballs at 100mph right down the middle and then strikes the guy out with a absolutely devastating curve. Oh man, its a thing of beauty.
nats2012
Good im glad our players are getting interest from other teams but guys we should never consider trading are Strasburg, Harper, Espinosa, Zimmermann, Storen, Ramos, Clippard, Morse, Zimmerman, Werth (eventhough people will say who wants that contract), Rendon, and move these guys only if there are very nice returns Detwiller, Peacock, Milone, Desmond, Bernadina.
LUWahooNatFan
I don’t see why Morse, Clippard, and Werth(noone will ever take his horrible contract) wouldn’t be expendable at the right price
LUWahooNatFan
I’m glad Rizzo’s come to the conclusion that the rest of the Nationals fan base has already realized in that it would be a waste of money to go after a closer when the Nationals have much more obvious needs

The marlins will never win the division this year or any year. The yankees will sign cj wilson. The cards already offered Albert an contract more than 200 million. Reyes will be the only player Miami will get. The phils will be okay this year but atlanta has a better bullpen then anyone in the majors. Finally the Nats will sign Carlos beltran but he will get murdered in the national league east. In the end, the braves will become the favorites in the national league east based on our all round depth. So 2012 starting lineup will be CF- Bourn,LF Cuban Man/Prado, RF Heyward, 2b Uggla, 1b Freeman, C- Mcann, 3b- Chipper, and ss Rollins. 2012 pitching rotation- 1. Hanson 2. Teheran 3.Minor 4. Delgado 5. Hudson. The braves trade Jurgeins and Prado away for Prospects and stubbs( makes less than 3 million this year).
