- The Rangers have outrighted Alberto Gonzalez to Triple-A according to the MLB.com transactions page. The 29-year-old infielder was designated for assignment last week. Gonzalez hit .241/.241/.315 in 55 plate appearances for Texas this year while playing second, third, and short.
Whenever the Rangers would celebrate on-field (and sometimes in the dugout), Alberto seemed really physical with other players. I noticed him basically punching other players. Someone should tell him to tone it down before he hurts someone.
