Ben Y.
Ok other than Koji name me one player on the Red Sox who had a career year????
Riaaaaaa

Ben Y.
HR R RBI AVG OBP
2013 15 82 61 .294 .351
AVG car 14 94 64 .277 .342
I don’t think he had a career year a good one yes
Riaaaaaa
Victorino had a war of 6.2, his highest ever. Defense also has to do with it.
Ben Y.
Most generally when people talk about career years its offense.
Riaaaaaa
Doesn’t matter, WAR proves his best overall year was last year.

Red Sox had injuries too we were down to our Forth closer. None of our pitchers had an outstanding year. No body really did actually

And yes, Farrell did a great job handling the closer concerns, but it pales in comparison to having no legitimate first baseman, an outfield of aging scraps, and no catcher. At least the Red Sox had a (mostly) healthy offense.
Riaaaaaa
The Red Sox also outperformed too. Many had career years/years that were much better than their usual ones. Luck was definitely on their side as well

I’m not blaming just Tito. The players are at fault to, but the number one leader is the manager. You can’t have players that are respected more than a manager leading the way. If that’s the case, why even have a manager?
