That’s correct. I must have messed up in the editing of this and just noticed it after your email prompted me to look again. What I meant to say, per Bloomberg, was that Astros got $9M in revenue sharing in 2013, but $110M value added to team because of MLB Advanced Media. MLB Advanced media gets the type of revenues it gets because of the product it delivers. If there were too many teams like the Astros have been over the last few years, the revenues would be less (poorer product) and therefore the values would be significantly less, since these valuations are usually done on a multiple of cash flow. So, when a team does what the Astros do, they are effectively relying on other team’s expenditures to produce a good product. Thanks for the note

Are you sure? Because Jeff Luhnow has been in contact with MLB and they are saying the Astros are playing by the rules.

Michael Feliz was an international signee by Ed Wade. Also Devenski was a trade acquisition, and while he is having a better than average year, he is not considered a decent prospect.

I have been doing sports medicine and radiology for a dozen years as a physician and i have never heard of congenital deficiency of the UCL or congenitally small UCL. Typically a chronically injured UCL is thickened (after partial tear) or absent (after complete tear).
These ligaments are small and difficult to see on MRI; this could have been inadvertently misconstrued as thinned. For confirmation, I would recommend Aiken images his other elbow for comparison and potentially gets an ultrasound which can easily compare his throwing and non-throwing arms.
