Crasnik’s poll has at least one exec. answering “I dont know” to a few of these simple, opinion-based questions.
I’d be willing to bet ya that those are Ruben’s answers…

Kreiky, there is no point to trade Castro when none of the other middle infielders the Cubs have has produced in the bigs, that would be a very poor choice to make, especially when his contract his pretty fair value.

That depends entirely on what the return is.

Fair enough, but if they want to contend next year like they say they do, they are going to need some known quantities. Trading away one of the few pieces they already know can produce in the majors for more unknowns would be a mistake imo.

Manny, it’s time, buddy. Hang ’em up.

Agreed not sure why he keeps trying knowing that he can’t do it anymore without the juice.

Cameron was “spot on last year”… except for Nelson Cruz, who hit 40 home runs and was the team MVP for the American League East champion. But I suppose he wouldn’t have been so critical if he had known Cruz was going to be had for a cheap 1-year deal.

Sometimes it feels like Cameron has a portal into my brain.

Please, some team jump in and save the Orioles from themselves on Markakis.

I agree about Lester. Hoping to see him in Cubbie blue in 2015 and beyond. I think Puig may be traded as part of a deal for Stanton. Fantastic article from Dave Cameron. Thanks for the link. Once again Bowden proves why no one should pay to be an Insider.

Manny will always be one of my favorite Ballplayers.
