The A’s have always been potential trade partners. They’ve proven that no one on their roster is untouchable for the right deal. That’s why Ben scheduled this trip…..nothing beats that face-to-face contact when looking at deals…even if it doesn’t happen for another month or so…stay tuned.

My guess would be pitching…..#3 Pitcher Hahn is Norwich CT native is a good young arm……..rumors have included Kazmir……….could be anyone on a west coast team.
phil mitchell
Groton CT native pitched with Matt Harvey for Fitch HS
MaineSox
Kazmir is probably the most obvious name.

Maybe Cherington is making that west coast swing so he can get that free hat on fedora night in Seattle this Friday. I do suppose it helps to get a personal eye on a few teams in the league that are rarely seen.

Street played in SD and Colorado too long if he jumped at a chance to sign in Anaheim because they’ve made the playoffs once in 5 years. They were lucky to have that staff hold up last year too.

Still seems he could have gotten at least that much in the offseason. He’s 8y younger than Koji and all he got. Koji might be more shut down the last 2y, except for last September, but that track record of Street’s has to count for something one would think.
