is there any chance the twsins could go after cantu, he still young and has all the skills, and in the homerdome he could be an elite 2b again

I actually think that Cantu might get scooped up quick considering the 2B market.

That is really dumb. Cantu can still hit.

Cantu is junk. His only decent minor league season came at high-A ball, his best major league season had him with an OPS a tiny hair over .800. He can't draw a walk to save his life, and he's never come close to matching 2005 at ANY level of professional baseball.
He's only 25, so maybe there is time, but I want him nowhere NEAR my team.

7 BB's to 10 K's in 57 AB's with the Reds showed a small glimmer of hope that Cantu just needs some solid time in the NL. Maybe Kevin Towers'll snatch him up.

How's Cantu's vision? I thought I maybe read he'd had vision trouble and eye surgery. I could be way wrong though.

I really am not too interested in rowand. Anyone know who the sox could possibly get in return for crede? I can't imagine it would be much, the brew crew don't have relievers to spare... maybe capuano?

Cantu is garbage on defense. I doubt going to the Twins would work well, especially with the fast turf. I think he might end up with San Diego or the Yankees, but most likely coming off the bench.
I like the idea of reacquiring Hamilton for the Rays. The main problem I have with it is that we would have to give the Reds something. Screw the Reds. With all the money we paid Hamilton, and all the time and effort the organization put into getting his life back on track and then he was just taken from us by the Reds as basically a one-year rental. Don't hold your breath on the Rays giving the Reds much for Hamilton.

I could see KW going for Capuano for a Buehrle-Vazquez-Contreras-Danks-Capuano rotation but I think he'd prefer to get Bill Hall or maybe if he got Melvin drunk then Rickie Weeks. Crede really doesn't have much value though, so there aren't a ton of options.
