It's not loading for me using firefox, but it works fine with explorer.

I use Firefox and it works just fine.

Yeah, Tim, it loads pretty slowly for me most of the time. That being said, I've got a fairly speedy PC. I don't know much about web design, but I do know that pages that are a lot bigger, more graphic, and just plain busier load more quickly than MLBTR.com does on my PC. I also use Firefox, so there may be some small type of compatability issue there. Most of the time, it loads in a couple of seconds, but I have had times where I couldn't hardly get it to load at all. I don't use Explorer much, so I'm strictly speaking from a Firefox POV.

When I open it with firefox it shows the story part of odds and ends but then the add doesn't show or anything on the site below that. It just sites trying to load.

P.S.-I've had a lot more difficulty with TypeKey than with MLBTR.com itself.

thats Ad not add

Try clearing your cookies and cache and restarting your browser. That worked for me in Firefox.

I use Firefox on a WinXP machine, and aside from TypeKey never keeping me logged in like it says it will, I've never had an issue.

Typekey makes me want to vomit...
Hopefully with the new site design comes a new commenting system...

Sorry folks but no change in the commenting system is forthcoming. I love my blogging platform and it is tied to TypeKey.
I emailed TypePad's CEO about it, for what that's worth.

I've had problems with pages loading very slowly. Usually this is the case when there is a large ad in the middle of the page. Usually have to refresh a few times to get the page to load. Use IE 6/WIN XP

I only have trouble loading the website when I'm on campus broadband using Firefox.
At home using Firefox (and a wireless router) it loads fine.

I too have no problems getting on the site but have had lots of problems with TypeKey! I really enjoy visiting MLBTR but TypeKey refusing to let me sign in or post is a real annoyance! Great site . . . but could be better by dropping TypeKey!
(I do not represent or work for another verification service!)

Yeah, still do. A thread was posted a week or two ago and I commented about this very problem. At that point, I had to clean my cookies after every five loads approx., but now, I have to clean them after every single load. Turning cookies off entirely fixes the problem, but I need to turn them back on the post a message and clean them after each load again. I use Opera, but the same thing happens in IE and I have the most recent version. I use Opera more though just because it's so easy to clean cookies and toggle them on and off.
Basically what I mean by "it doesn't load" is that the very top of the page loads, but that's it. The status bar at the bottom of the browser window continues to show data being transferred, but eventually, it just stops and nothing else loads until I clean the cookies out. I could deal with only having to do it once every five times, but every single time is annoying as hell and makes posting a message a nuisance. Otherwise, having the cookies off works great.

Is anyone else having problems with MLBTR on their blackberry? I took a break and couldnt get it to load at all. Cleared the cache and still no difference. Just keeps "requesting script" and goes into "A problem occurred while trying to render the page” after a while…

I've never had an issue with loading on the site. However today I do and I've cleared my cache and cookies and with Firefox it is loading even less then before.
Of note is keeps saying waiting for Bbfadnet.com
