Skipworth AND Galloway. I like the Marlins' draft for upside. Both guys could be the best at their respective positions with superstar potential. I'm surprised Galloway signed so easily; Florida stole one there.

Nice move by the Fish.
Kinda off topic, when is the deadline to sign drafted players ?

Deadline is August 15th. With the signing and assuming all top picks sign, what are everyone's thoughts on the top MiLB player's (upside in mind) at each position?
My thoughts are...
C: Wieters - BAL
1B: Villalona - SF
2B: Antonelli - SD
3B: P. Alvarez - PIT
SS: Either Beckham
OF: Heyward - ATL
OF: Rasmus - STL
OF: Maybin - FLA
SP: Price - TB
Thoughts?

They get put back into next years draft.
BTW, Tim any news on Posey and the Giants? And the San Francisco Chronicle said the A's are coming close to a deal with Weeks around 2 mil. Any truth?

I would dump Rasmus and go with LaPorta, great point. The point was assuming they all sign and with upside in mind. Who else would you pick at 3B? Alvarez has more upside than say, Andy LaRoche.

but LaRoche has more upside than say, THE GIANTS....
