Angels Avoid Arb With Chone Figgins
8:40pm: The Associated Press has the terms. It's a one-year contract worth $5.7MM.
8:07pm: The Angels have avoided arbitration with infielder Chone Figgins, according to a press release on MLB.com.
No terms of the contract have been released. Figgins, 30, hit .276/.367/.318 last season with one home run and 22 RBI in 116 games. He stole 34 bases.
