Olivo kind of sucks
Colorado has this Yorvit Torrealba we can sign and trade if you'd like.
He's CLUTCH.

"No, no and no. Next question"
I agree.
Crisp and Yabuta are definite no's, Crisp is welcomed back if he'll take less guaranteed money though.
With Olivo, exercising the option wouldn't be so bad, but realistically, the .241 ISO that propped up his .334 wOBA this year isn't sustainable given that his 21.7% HR/FB ratio is way out of line with his career rate.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Brayan Pena and Mitch Maier in those places next season.
Also, I think that it might be time to shop Alberto Callaspo. He's value is pretty high right now coming off a nice offensive season, and the Royals don't really need him anymore with the additions of Getz and Fields.
The Royals should let Butler, Gordon, Ka'aihue and Fields share the 1B/3B/DH duties, with Getz and Betancourt (unfortunately) in the middle infield, and an outfield of DeJesus, Maier and Guillen, unless they trade Callaspo for an outfielder.
Certainly, a few teams could use a 2B with pop like Callaspo, even if he's not much of a defender.

Reading "Option Decisions" hurts my head.

No to Yabuta obviously.
If the Teahan trade went through and we saved payroll, MAYBE Coco. But still try to save some money if we can get him a new contract.
Olivo is tough. Buck is like the worst player on the team. Pena is a backup. So unless we can get somebody in a trade, we might just have to try to get Olivo. If he wants a multi year deal, no right away. The market and our farm system opens up much more for 2011.

Yabuta - no
Crisp - I hope for a 3 year deal since i like him in CF but i don't see him 100% next year
Olivo - no, because he's gonna want a multi-year deal with his power surge, and we can can offer arb being prett sure he declines. he's gonna be a type B, and thats the best kind. we get a draft pick and the team signing him loses nothing.
We need to non-tender Buck too.

No to Yabuta
No to Crisp, try to work something out.
Buck gets non-tendered. So yes on Olivo, though I'm sure he declines his player option.

can they just trade Greinke so that way he isn't wasted again next year.

I'd strongly consider picking up Crisp or working something out with him.
No to all the others.

too bad they don't have any options left on Frank White, Willie Wilson and George Brett

Get rid of all of them! You're the Royals, has those three made any kind of difference?
