Honestly, I think all of them will be sellers. Brewers and Cubs should already be sellers. The Marlins are falling back and I could see them moving Ugla, Ross, and any other veteran. THe Blue Jays just aren’t good enough to contend in the AL East.

I think the Blue Jays will be. The Marlins and the Cubs, in my opinion, should not sell, but trade pieces for pieces in return that could help just as much. The Brewers should be as well, but I don’t think they will.

Sell Cubs sell! DLee for good young talent, TLilly for a good young pitcher or two, ARAM for a bucket of balls KFuk for free buffet for the team. Also, Go ahead and let Sweet Lou go and let Sandberg take over for the second half of the year so he can have a running start on next year.

Given where the Blue Jays currently are, and where they want to go, they are a dead-cert to be sellers at the deadline.
Scott Downs, Jason Frasor, Kevin Gregg, Jose Bautista, Lyle Overbay, and John Buck all have some value, and will be available. Shaun Marcum would likely be available if a team was prepared to pay full price, but that seems doubtful given his recent injury. I daresay that one of the young arms could be available too, if a big-time trade was on the table (the Jays are desperate for 3B)

I’m gonna go with other: Astros. They really need to try to move Berkman and Oswalt. This team right now is horrible and has very little in the way of a future. Sell off the best pieces now.

The Cubs would be sellers – but there’s not much of a market for horrible contracts these days, so their hands are pretty tied. I don’t see another Bradley-for-Silva miracle happening. Further, I am thinking Cubs fans would revolt if they traded Lee, but he is probably the most likely to go if they do move anyone significant.
