If he’s serious about trying to get more economical, he is going to be the best pitcher in the american league. He put up an 8win season followed by a 6 win season back to back without ever pitching pitching past the 7th inning. I’m glad he is getting national media coverage, but now that the New York media is aware of him, when do the Verlander for Joba + prospects rumors start?

He never used win-loss records in his argument….

Probably the Sox will want in too since their farms system is the best the bigs.

And to thing the Pads could have had him….I think Matt Bush still may work out for them though…..

The only team that could have had him was the Pirates. He was chosen 2nd overall in 04…

I was at that game and it was a quite boring game (not the no hitter part) with the very little amount of strikeouts not many people realized it was a no hitter until the 6th or 7th inning, bit none the less I was overjoyed to see a part of history.

And WHIP and ERA is the true way to judge a pitcher! Agreed! 🙂

Galarraga threw the only 28-out perfect game in MLB history.

Verlander’s family isn’t interested in having the MLB package on Dish or cable?
ImperialStout
Maybe they were out with things to do… they can’t watch EVERY game he pitches.
