 All I remember was seeing this guy hit at one point in the season.  If he played in a different ballclub, at a different stadium, I’d bet his numbers would be a lot better.

He’s a career minor leaguer like all the other A’s first basemen since Jason Giambi, except for Carlos Pena who they discarded. Barton, Allen, Carter, Kila, none of them belong in the major leagues. Brandon Moss looks pretty good so far, though some still whine about Carter getting his 4th chance. Kila’s a better hitter than the others (Carter, Barton) but he’s fielding is horrible.

Maybe the tigers should take a chance on carlson he was always a decently good pitcher with the blue jays. Any input?
