How?
martinfv2
All you have to do is sign up, click the link in the confirmation email, and wait for the first email to roll in Wednesday!
Leon Barry
The big giant button wasn’t showing up for me on the desktop site. I see it here on the mobile site.

I’d love to subscribe but since your signup form doesn’t work for those of us who are visually impaired…
martinfv2
I’m not sure how to do that…would a link work?

I’ll try it, I suspect that it’ll take you to the same sort of sign up form. I’ll see what happens & get back.
Sean Paul
It’s not a you issue per say. No, that didn’t work… I see that you’re using mailChimp it is an issue with their sign up form. Those of us in the accessibility world have tried for years to get them to do a better job with their accessibility. It is what it is… Thanks sir.

Gimmicky. Keep the material on the site. Can’t speak for others, but I don’t need yet another thing in my inbox.
martinfv2
I’m aiming for this to be a bit of a different experience…subscribers can reply to me personally and submit ideas for future newsletters and the website in general. Also, some of our original posts can get buried by news and notes stories. But to each his own, of course! It doesn’t have any effect on MLBTR, which is always improving.

No problem, kudos for trying something new. Just keep posting the content here, even if you prevent comments to encourage the different format. Just don’t fence content.
BananaMonster
Awesome! Who could complain about more content?
MB923
Sorry that this is not related @mlbtrdisadmin:disqus , but is there a way to view and post comments from the app (I have the Android app) in addition to posting and viewing comments from the web?
Melvin McMurf
no
martinfv2
We’re working on it. It will be a few months. Sorry about that.

I entered my e-mail address, hit subscribe and it did nothing. I’m assuming I am good, but if there’s a way to put “you are now subscribed” or something, it would probably save you the headache of having the same person doing it multiple times.
martinfv2
That is odd. There is supposed to be a message about the confirmation email being sent.
Bobo Johnstone
Nothing happened for me either.
thekidfromyesterday
Will this be every Wednesday?
martinfv2
I haven’t quite decided. But possibly…I imagine consistency would be preferred.
Shaungbd
Anyway it can be sent to fb accounts don’t check my email
