First One In The Books
Ah, that was fun. Chris Carpenter was surprisingly off tonight, and the Mets won easily. Carlos Beltran made an awesome throw to nail David Eckstein at the plate. It was a perfect throw. I've got the day off tomorrow, so I should be able to crank out plenty of rumors in the morning before settling in for the Cubs game.

Cards-Mets game would have been better without Joe Morgan getting his knees dirty over the Mets. No one in the NL was close to the Mets offense last year? What a moron.

The interesting part is the joke was less funny that the zito 4 cy young nick name. The fact that the guy earned the award a year he had no right to, and that dude wants him to win another one.

I found the same stuff with the Phillies shipping Burrell and JA Happ to the Yankees for A-Rod...
I laughed and thought... It must be an April Fool's joke because George Steinbrenner would already have fired his entire management staff and probably half his coaching staff... ( Before A-Rod rejected the deal lol)....
