I hope CC asks for what hes actually worth (15m+) and tests the free agent market, he would look great in pin stripes!

CC is such a great guy, and I know from talking to family members of his that he doesnt really want to leave Cleveland for anyone but possibly a bay-area team. Since I cant imagine SF or Oak being teams in the bidding, I imagine he will be sticking around for some time...
...and it makes me so happy! I remember only a few months ago how everyone was saying the Tribe would only be able to keep one of Westy/Pronk/CC. I remember how so many people bashed the club for making that "one" Westbrook. On the heals of possibly keeping all three I just wanted to say; neeener, neeener, neeener!!! :)

"Despite what Ed Wade says I doubt they really want a $4MM utility player."
Probably not, but I envision Loretta replacing Matsui at 2B by mid-season, not because Loretta is fantastic but because Matsui will be a bust.
Then Wade will have a 3 year/ $16.5 million utility man.

No way the Astros are cool with dishing out a cool 4 million..that bench better be freakin warm when Carlos Lee and Roy Oswalt go to sit on it, thats all I gotta say. If I'm the bat boy I'm asking for a freakin' raise. Hey, Mark, listen we tried to be nice about this--you know, with the whole signing Kaz Matsui, then Geoff Blum--we sort of thought you'd get the message. But apparently not: It's over Mark...time to move on and shag someone elses balls.
