The Rizzo-Bowden rumor looks more and more like it's substantiated, condidering Rizzo has been delivering some of the Nationals' press releases. There has been some concern as to whether or not he's personable enough to handle the public eye that being a GM gets. Only time will tell, I guess, but he's got a great track record from Arizona.

Breaking News!
Kip Wells is expendable.

wow.

jk Tim, I love the site, just had make a crack there. I hate that guy

Only in Pittsburgh can you be designated for assignment and get a promotion at the same time!

Call me crazy, but this doesn't sound to me like the Manny case is closed:

"There were some follow-up calls," Courtney said. "It's closed. It's not ongoing."

Courtney later said his comments were premature and deferred further questions on the matter to Rich Levin, another baseball spokesman. Levin said this afternoon he had no comment.

It's funny that we're taking MacPhail's funny candid comment od "dough" as some kind of admission of who the PTBNL might be. We must be desperate for news.
