As an Astros fan, it hurts to see the owner already throwing in the towel on one of the most sought after FA Starting Pitchers this offseason.
I about figured it wasn't going to happen anyway, but it still hurts to see it in writing.
Then again, a lot of things Drayton McLane does breaks my heart.

I still cant believe how good Hawkins was for the Stros. I knew he would be good but I think he only allowed 1 ER.

"The 'Stros will apparently go with internal options in center field."
Does this mean I have to stomach another year of Baby Bourn?

Everything I have read has said that they are looking for someone to complement Quintero and Towles will have to earn his way onto the roster in Spring Training.
