What do you think the Giants are going to do from here on? Any chance they are able to get rid of any of the Roberts/Arulia/Durham trio, and their bad contracts before the season? Any chance they make any moves (trades) without involving Cain/Lincecum? (sorry, couldn't get the email to work)

I hope Prior makes it back to the majors....then gets hammered by big league hitters. I don't believe he will make it back to his '03 form....

I heard the Cubs were going after Joe Blanton. Please tell me they can get him without giving up Rich Hill. Rich Hill shouldn't be available--period.

Why doesn't Omar Minaya approach Theo Epstein with a 3-way deal to bring Santana to the mets? It would keep Johan away from the Yankees and benefit both the Mets and Red Sox.

sooth what do the red sox get back for there top prospects? Heilman and a bag of balls? The Red Sox are in this because they want Santana, no other reason.

Do you think the Giants will trade Lowry, Sanchez, a Young outfielder or a combination of all for a corner infielder? Or will the Giants hold on to their pitching and sign Pedro Feliz ?

With the looming return of Nick Johnson to the Nationals, the glut of outfielders in Austin Kerns, Elijah Dukes, Lastings Milledge, and Willy Mo Pena, and the contract Dmitri Young signed last summer, who becomes the odd man out? I know Dmitri Young can play OF, but with the three new acquisitions this past 6 months in Dukes, Milledge, and Pena, does this make Johnson expendable? Do you think if this is the case, is there a matchup between the Nats and Giants for Johnson?

are the cubs making any trades

Where does the Luxury Tax imposed on teams go? Is it to small market teams?

Smooth, Kramerica is right. The only kind of trade that would possibly entice Theo is one that started with Reyes heading to Boston. Since the chances of that happening are just about nil, so are the chances of a 3-way between these three teams.

What do you think the Cubs will do for a utility player this year? If we don't trade for Brian Roberts, DeRosa will be every day 2b. I hope they dont stick with a Ward Cedeno mix
