Gotta love the last trade he made with the Marlins. That could one of the worst in history.

the one where he netted Cabrera and gave up a lefty who has a very questionable future? Yeah, one of the worst ever. you're a fool.
Clearly the trade giving up hernandez and jurrjens for nothing was worse.

The trade with the Marlins will turn out just fine
I would have given up all six of those players for JUST Cabrera (by the way Willis was a throw-in to that deal and he has tremendous upside)
The trade with the Braves (giving up Gorkeys Hernandez and Jair Jurrjens) was a terrible trade
But excluding that trade, DD is a great GM

Not to forget to mention the Robertson and Willis extension = stupid

Funny trade:
John McDonald from the Blue Jays (Blue Jays get Future Consideration)
Then in 2005, Blue Jays complete the trade by getting McDonald back!!
One of the few players to be traded for himself!!!
Kinda would have liked to see him in a Tigers' uniform now.... :(
