Russ Adams first came up to the big leagues as a Shortstop. He was designated as the Jay's next leadoff hitter after Reed Johnson since he had good bat control and bats left. But to lots of errors, he was sent back to the minors to groom as a 2nd baseman to reduce his errors (mainly by throwing) He has now played 3rd and Leftfield in the minors this year. So, Adams has no real primary position right now.

I watched Adams play last night in Tacoma. He was having problems but seem to take decent pitches. He played 2B. He was swinging for the fences a few times but the wind was blowing just right, lots of high deep fly balls last night.
