      “Need”? No team needs to do anything technically

        Yes, they do. FA’s mean open roster spots. Those have to be filled, either with prospects or other FA’s. Either constitutes a roster move.

          just because there are open spots doesnt mean they NEED to fill them. They can be shorthanded and many teams especially during the offseason have open spots and during the season have had spots open when they are expecting someone back from the 60 day injured list.

          They prefer to fill them so they are not at a disadvantage but dont have to.

        Grandpa got into the melatonin again.

        He’s gone loopy.

        Just let him get to his chair and put a game on…

        Tabata’s Adopted Son;

        I figured it out and he makes a good point.

        But it would take me 3 paragraphs to explain, and I’m too tired.

      Your lack of punctuation makes you hard to understand, but I think you’re complaining because MLBTR put their off-season outlooks behind the paywall, right?

      How dare they get paid for their efforts!

        I think he is actually complaining because he doesn’t see “breaking news” on a free site called “Rumors” but confirms them after he reads it in a pay site. It’s dumb, because it’s not true, he should just pay the $3 per month to subscribe, the pay sites might get news quicker because they have paid staff for each team, and he certainly isn’t going anywhere other than to cry and complain some more.

    What will be the impact of the failed RSNs and lost revenue on the FA market this winter? Owners will have uncertainty about TV revenue next year.

    Ohtani, Betts and Freeman

    versus

    Judge, Soto and Stanton.

    This WS will get good TV ratings.

    This year it is all about who can spend the most to get to the World Series.
