« Wittenmyer On Byrd, Roberts, Bedard | Main | Yukinaga Maeda To Throw For MLB Teams »
We've got another new addition to the MLBTR team: Mike Glab. Or, Big Mike as he likes to be called. Here's a short bio:
Big Mike Glab is a freelance writer who has covered politics, education, real estate development, and a host of other topics. His real love is baseball and he's working on a book about the coming of age of a fan, framed by a day by day account of the the 2007 season. His literary idol is one James Alan Bouton of the Seattle Pilots - "Hey Shakespeare, put that in your @$%^&*!# book!"
Mike can be reached at bigmikeglab@hotmail.com. Contributions from he and Karl should begin appearing within a week or two.

Jim Bouton's "Ball Four" is one of the best baseball books of all time. But, he was an Astro as well as a Seattle Pilot (not to mention a Yankee too). His book was released while he was still pitching with the Astros. I was a kid at the time, and Bouton was one of my favorite players on the Astros. He was used as both a reliever and occasional starter, but he was a fun character on the field too.

He is a freelance writer... ok cool... but where and what are his baseball credentials? did he play in college, did he ever work in pro baseball. etc? where is his baseball background? same with the other guy? this guy could just be some joe shmo who is a fan but knows nothing about baseball or how to give insight
