could schoenweis be part of a deal for Thames? is thames even available? who else would the mets have to give up for him?

how about Shoenweiss and Muniz for Polanco.
then trade Niese,Carp and Parnell for Salty and Catalanotto.
Then,
Castro for Austin Jackson and Shelley Duncan

none of thsoe trades would ever happen. 1) the mets aren't looking for a 2b, they like easley and reyes 2)Rangers aren't giving up salty and mets aren't looking to deal Niese or Parnell 3) why on earth would the yanks do that deal, they weren't willing to deal Jackson for Nady and Marte, why would they deal him and duncan for an overweight catcher with back problems who has proven he can't physically handle being an everyday starter
