6k's in 6IP for Strasburg?!?!?!
He's not even in the majors yet and he's already starting to decline. The draft can't get here soon enough. He'd be best advised to take the first offer he sees because he is not very good anymore only striking out 1 batter per inning. Thats horrible and hardly the statline of the greatest pitcher ever. He needs to tighten up.

"Jon Paul Morosi of the Detroit Free Press believes the Tigers need a top-notch closer."
Haha, Really? He gets paid to write this? Where do I sign up?

"Chuck Finder of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette compares Pedro Alvarez to Barry Bonds"
BAHAHAAHAHAHA. Call me when he ever reaches 120 home runs.
On a serious note, I looked at that article and the biggest thing that caught my eye was how sad the Pirates picks were. Bonds and Kendall were the only ones that turned out decent. All the rest were busts or left for another team and still did shity. Pretty sad.

And that is the failure of Littlefield and Bonifay.

midtown- still partying from last night? That is nonsense and I have not seen any NYY fan say anything like that.

i have news for you, midtown.
boston's first pick is just before the yankees first pick. and if strasburg falls that far, guess who's not passing up the chance to get him?
that's right, it's boston.
but the yankees are the big bad wolves, huh?
pffft

I have bad news for all you Yankee and Red Sox fans: keep dreaming. No way the Nats pass on Strasburg.

Sandy Alderson is no longer the Padres' President. Jeff Moorad took over that role when the first phase of his ownership went official.
