Strasburg got 15 million, did he not?

      • Ferrariman 5 years ago

yes/no. it was a contract that is worth 15million. but thats not how much he gets each year.

I didn’t read the article, but from what it says on here it just says 10-12 million, not per year. So who said per year?

        Strasburg signed a 4 year deal for 15.1M with a 7.5M bonus

Who has the current record? Ackley, Teixeira?

    • i think Ackley did because if i am not mistaken he got 9 mil

      • Ferrariman 5 years ago

neither. tex only got a 2.5mil signing bonus. ackley got a 6million signing bonus. i doubt either of those are records. i can think of one off the top of my head that are higher(j.upton).

“Joel Sherman of the New York Post feels that Ike Davis should’ve been with the Mets since the beginning of the season”

Why, he didnt have a chance to face the Cubs bullpen till yesterday.

This is the ideal time to call him up with a fantastic shot of making him instantly look good. Omar picked the perfect time to boost his self-esteem upon callup!

I know this is way way off topic but Who do you think is the all time better pitcher Greg Maddux Or Randy Johnson and why?

    • Suzysman 5 years ago

And I would say Maddux, lol. He did it with his mind instead of stuff, man he knew the game.

Its a judgment argument though – no right or wrong answer

FYI in case you missed it, ESPN did a rundown of him and showed how he drops his hands prior to swinging, saying it will be something good pitchers will be taking advantage of.

Luckily, like I said, he is facing our pitchers this week – he should do great. I mean, its too bad for him he missed Shark-Bait and Berg yesterday, but wait till he gets to face Grabow!

Thanks me and my friend are having a arguement of whos the better pitcher

  8. Suzysman 5 years ago

normally agree with the knowledge stuff, but they were showing video and detailing it. Its for real, and will be something to watch. He was dropping his hands as the pitch was to be delivered

Edit – yeah, he’s still doing it today too
