This is not really on topic completely, but does anyone know if the Pirates would be up for trading Jack Wilson? They seem to have come to their senses about competing for the playoffs this year but I know they love Wilson. But they should really be trading veterans. I ask because if Rafael Furcal is going to be out longer, as he may now it appears, the Dodgers are going to want a better SS option B than they currently have. If the Pirates ate a bit of his salary, and the Dodgers traded them a good prospect, could that happen? Any rumors out there...?

I would trade Hernandez before I trade Ichiro. Absolutely massive haul, the kind you can build half your team off of. I know that probably won't happen but it's a cool idea. Ichiro brings in too much revenue and the fan base would be alienated if he left; he also has a limited NTC.

"Trade Ichiro"
Make it stop.

Can someone please tell me why anyone still thinks that Paul LoDuca is a valuable player? .228/.307/.291 ... I mean, I know Matt Treanor sucks, but seriously, come on now.

As a marlins fan I would be really disappointed if they got LoDuca instead of cashing in on the Seattle fire sale by picking up Johjima.
