Will the White Sox look into El Duque? what does anybody think?
Yeah, or maybe Fernando Valenzuela, they're the same age.

El Duque in St. Louis for an incentives based contract would make a lot of sense.

Orlando Hudson should be checking out the local AARP services.

"Orlando Hudson should be checking out the local AARP services."
OK. Why the hell did I say Orlando Hudson. I meant Orlando Hernandez, or El Duque.

Ausmus to the Padres makes more sense. Veteran catcher to mentor Hundley, plus...you know...it's San Diego.

why wouldn't el duque want to "pitch" for another season, its easy money
Posted by: 86 World Series Baby | November 04, 2008 at 01:08 PM
El Duque wants to pitch again next year. He and Vasquez could complete the Met-inos rotation.

I know it usually comes down to money, but El Duque to Cleveland would be an outstanding fit.

El Duque is 50 and washed up, the only team that will take a chance on him would be the Met-inos for obvious reasons.

You spelled Vazquez wrong.

Ausmus who couldn't hit at all at Minute Maid park, Now hitting at Petco Park or Dodger Stadium. The mendoza line might be his goal for the season.

I don't know if Edgar is worth a 1st round draft pick, also I wouldn't be surprised if Mo takes interest in El Duque

Why would the Dodgers pay for Varitek if they can get Ausmus? At this point they are basically the same player with Ausmus having the advantage of being in the NL his entire career while TEK wouldn't know the batters/pitchers as well.

I did not know Kazuhito Tandano was an adult film star o.0
The Giambi bit is interesting, that really wouldn't surprise me again if Beane would give a respectable salary.
