Don't know if you heard but D-Train and Miguel Cabrera have been swapped to the Tigers for Cameron Maybin and Andrew Miller as well as 4 others, courtesy of Peter Gammons, and pending a physical.

I'm guessing thats a joke.
And I'm not surprised the Athletics aren't interested in Conor Jackson. They have an almost identical player who's 3 years younger in Daric Barton. But unless the Diamondbacks give up Upton, Drew or Young, then they may not have the pieces to make a Haren deal. What would they have to give up? Would Carlos Gonzalez, Alberto Callaspo, Mark Reynolds, and Dana Eveland be enough? I wouldn't think so since none of those guys really have star potential with the exception of Gonzalez.

After trading Quentin to get a different Chris Carter back for our farm system, we don't really have a viable OF candidate if we traded Upton or Young.
I don't see us matching up well with Oakland. Our pitching prospects are mediocre at best, most back of the rotation.
My guess is the A's wait out the Santana saga and then the demand for Haren will just be off the charts and well beyond the DBacks abilities.

The D-backs are not going to trade Mark Reynolds.

With Tracy not looking to be available to start next year, Mark Reynolds is pretty untouchable right now.
