UPDATE, 12-6-07 at 12:57pm: According to Thomas Harding of MLB.com, David Eckstein is now a Rockies' target for second base. They talked to Mark Loretta today, also. Harding adds that the holdup on the Cook deal is the amount of a fourth-year option.

If the O’s do trade Roberts, would it be safe to assume that Iguchi will probably get a 5YR/36M-ish deal?
…Oh, and for news to soon leak that he was caught doing steroids…
As far as the Topic/Rockies, how many relievers are they looking for this year? They talking to some guys about maybe minorleague contracts as well, to just give them Vet-Depth if needed?
