Here's a quick update on Liriano-gate.
Phil Miller of the twin cities Pioneer Press reports the Twins won't hold Francisco Liriano accountable for his agent's request to investigate the team's handling of the southpaw. Liriano had expressed frustration over his extended stay in the minors.

Liriano isn't frustrated, his agent Genske is...at least, according to this:

Whew, I'm glad the Twins won't blame a player for being upset while they deliberately hold back the clock on his service time.

Liriano: "Why am I in the minors? Why?"
I usually trust management, but GM Bill Smith and Assistant GM Robert Antony DEFINITELY aren't on the same page. Bill Smith scuffed at the possibility of keeping Liriano in the minors, while when Antony was asked, he NEVER denied it.
The Twins might have a little trouble trusting Liriano, after he said he was ready in April (we all know how that ended up), but will they listen now when Fransisco wants to come up? Not for me to judge, but I think they should.
Someone will take Hernandez...

I hope someone will take Hernandez. If not, the Twins should probably choose the DFA route--Liriano needs to get to the majors somehow, asap.
