Brewers Sign First Round Pick Lawrie

As expected, the Brewers inked their first-round pick Brett Lawrie. According to MLB.com's Jonathan Mayo, the bonus is $1.7MM. The Brewers will give him a shot to stick at catcher. 11 days remain before the deadline to sign this year's draft picks. A list of unsigned first-rounders can be found here.
